At Kviknes Hotel, the tradition of hospitality dates back to 1752. Ole Kvigne took over the hotel in 1877 together with his wife Kari and brother Knut. From then on, a radical development began that has continued right up to the present day. The Kvikne family has always hosted the hotel on the Sognefjord. Now a new generation is carrying on the legacy of Ole and Kari Kvikne. Sigurd Kvikne is the day-to-day manager, along with his siblings Marta and Kari.
History has always been an important part of the experience at Kviknes Hotel. Generations have taken good care of treasures and works of art - and this has given the hotel its special soul and atmosphere. To this day, you can experience history when you visit Kviknes Hotel. In the Høyvik Hall you will find fantastic works of art from different periods and artists.
