The Book town in Mundal, Fjærland was started in 1995. At any given time it has around 150.000 books of various size and origin for sale in several places; the car ferry waiting room, in barns, at the bank, at the cold storage plant or at the post office.
The Book town sells used books and also uses vacant premises -making book sales very original.
